The BWT Pearl HPB is a rear discharge inverter pool heat pump. What sets it apart is how it decides to run: instead of looking only at your pool water, it also takes the outside air temperature into account, then sets its output to the point where it delivers the heat you need at the best possible COP.

In practice that means the unit spends most of its life running slowly and quietly rather than cycling at full noise, which is exactly what you want from equipment sitting near a living area. Four models cover 9.5 kW to 20.3 kW, and BWT Connect lets you manage it all from your phone.

Inverter efficiency

A conventional heat pump is either on at full power or off. An inverter unit varies its compressor speed to match what the pool actually needs, so it draws less electricity to hold a temperature and reaches it without the hard start-stop cycling. Over a season that is where the saving comes from.

Built-in Wi-Fi, set up in minutes

Every BWT Pearl inverter heat pump ships with a Wi-Fi module already fitted behind a side panel. Scan the QR code on the unit, enter your network password and pair it — there is no extra module to buy and no separate install visit.

Control it from the BWT Connect app

Set your target temperature, switch between Boost, Smart and ECO-Silent modes and check what the unit is using, from your phone. Handy when the forecast turns warm midweek and you want the pool ready by Saturday.

Quiet enough to live beside

ECO-Silent mode drops the fan and compressor speed for evening running, so the heat pump keeps working without becoming the loudest thing in the backyard.

Remote diagnostics

Because the unit is connected, a fault code can be read remotely rather than diagnosed on site. BWT’s TechniCenter can see the error, check settings and in many cases resolve or adjust things without anyone needing to come out.
