I’m Theron, Franchisor for the Melbourne Region in Victoria. I have franchise territories available in the blue-chip inner city areas of Greater Melbourne, to the north, east and south/bayside.

Like many Jim’s Pool Care business owners, I spent many years in corporate roles before joining the pool industry – in my case, senior management roles. After a long period of research and consideration I bought in and started my franchise in late 2020 but quicky realised that this business and this work was a whole lot more enjoyable, satisfying and flexible than I could have ever imagined. Not only was Pool Technician work interesting and different every day, I loved the more relaxed pace & working outdoors, and I was quickly able to achieve earnings comparable to my previous senior management roles – without the stress. My business grew quickly, and I was honoured to be awarded National Franchisee of the Year in 2023.

Today I’m both a working Franchisee as well as Regional Franchisor, and it is my aim to help Franchisees that join me achieve levels of success and satisfaction that I’ve enjoyed. We provide our new franchisees with a ton of training and lots of support, and we provide systems & processes that make it easy to do business.

Our system is unique in the franchise industry with very few restrictions and flat fees, which means business owners can easily build successful businesses around their own lifestyles.
