Jim’s Pool Care makes a splash at the National SPASA Awards 2017
WINNERS ARE GRINNERS! This year has been one full of accolades for the Jim’s Pool Care team right across Australia. Jim’s Pool Care Caloundra, Jim’s Pool Care West Lakes and Jim’s Pool Care Sunshine Coast have all been recognised for outstanding achievements at the SPASA National Awards of Excellence held on the 31st August 2017, at Doltone House in Sydney.
Best Pool & Spa Business in Australia
Stephen Cluff from Jim’s Pool Care Caloundra won “Best Pool & Spa Business in Australia” as voted by SPASA Australia. This Award reflects the dedication of Stephen and his team. He has been operating Jim’s Pool Care in Caloundra for over seven years now, starting off with one man and a van. Robyn, his partner, then took on the business accounting and together they put on their first team member three years ago and haven’t looked back since. Jim’s Pool Care Caloundra is now a team of three technicians, three vehicles and two office staff servicing pools all over the Sunshine Coast. Stephen says, “This award motivates us even more to continue delivering excellent customer service and to expand our business even further”. Stephen also looks after a team of dedicated Jim’s Pool Care franchise owners who he coaches and mentors each month.
Owner and General Manager of Jim’s Pool Care Australia, Brett Blair, says, “We couldn’t be more proud of Stephen, Robyn and their team’s achievements. They have built a strong reputation on the Queensland Coast for being expert retailers and service technicians for local pool and spa owners. We are very excited to have their commitment to the industry recognised with such a prestigious national award”.
James Lunnay at Jim’s Pool Care West Lakes also came away with a Silver Award for “Best Pool Technician in Australia” at the awards ceremony. James has secured a Certificate 4 in Swimming Pool & Spa Services and is also Pool Fence Compliance Certified. James says, “It’s very important that we keep up to date with the latest technology, practices and regulations when it comes to pool and spa servicing and we are committed to this”.
Congratulations also goes out to Jason Pollack from Jim’s Pool Care Umina who won the Bronze Award for “Best Pool Technician in Australia”. Jason and his team were excited to receive national recognition in what is a very competitive category and comments “After our win earlier this year at the SPASA NSW Awards, this is the icing on the cake for us at Jim’s Pool Care Umina. We are celebrating the win and will continue to strive to deliver the best service possible to our clients”.

It’s been a big year of recognition for Brett and his Franchisors. Jim’s Pool Care has certainly made a mark for itself over recent years and this year has been no exception.
