I started out as a hands-on franchisee myself, so I know exactly what it takes to grow a thriving Jim’s Pool Care business from the ground up. Today, I lead the Jim’s Pool Care Sydney East region, supporting a team of high-performing franchisees and helping them achieve their goals every step of the way.

About Me – Sydney Regional Franchisor

My journey with Jim’s Pool Care began with a brand new ‘greenfield’ site, working poolside as a pool technician and building my own successful business. Since taking on the Sydney East region in 2018, we’ve grown from a small group of 3 to a strong team of 10 franchisees … and there’s still huge potential for more franchisees.

Before joining Jim’s, I spent over two decades in education, including leadership roles, business-building inside schools, and large international research projects in psychology and education.

That experience taught me how to create simple systems that optimise business efficiency and allow talented people to thrive … and that mindset flows through everything I do with Jim’s Pool Care today.

How I Support Pool Care Franchisees

While I still enjoy jumping on site to solve technical challenges when needed, a big part of my role now is mentoring, training, business coaching, and helping franchisees grow and scale their operations.

When you join Jim’s Pool Care Sydney East, you’re not just starting a business, you’re getting a support crew behind you. From day one, I’m here to help with everything from technical pool care know-how to business strategy, customer service tips, and smart ways to scale your income.

Starting a new business can feel a little daunting, especially if you’ve been used to working for a boss and getting a regular salary. It’ll take hard work, determination, and commitment … because at the end of the day, it’s your business. We’re here to guide you, but we won’t run it for you.

How long does it take to build a thriving business? To be honest, it can take up to 3 to 5 years to build up your franchise to a level where you’re really happy with your customer base, your weekly workload, and your annual revenue. That’s the same for any new business. I’m here to show you how you can shortcut the process using the Jim’s franchising model. But at the end of the day, it’ll be up to you.

My role is to mentor you through that journey … helping you stay focused, build strong foundations early, grow your knowledge & skills, and keep moving towards your goals.

  1. regular & one-off pool maintenance and chemical sales, and
